qbproger, Marvin actually stole my point, but I wanted to point out that collada is FALSELY easy to parse. Yeah, right, one file is pretty easy to get the hang of, but when you'll have to deal with twelve different conventions on geometry writing, because of twelve different exporters (half of them are deprecated already, let'snottalkaboutblendersupporthere), you'll feel the pain. On the other hand, one well-defined, well-documented, and CONSISTENTLY IMPLEMENTED binary file format would be a pleasure to write a loader for. In C, of course
