The reason for this suggestion is that from the main page of Xith3D it doesn't look fairly active, when in actuality there is a ton of development going on.  I'm proposing a blow/news page.  People could post about what they're currently working on, API changes, or anything Xith related.  Maybe an article here or there about optimizing a scene and such.

What are other people's thoughts on this?

I've used wordpress, but every update changes the template system in a way that breaks it (so I've stopped upgrading, leaving my blog vulnerable..    )

tikiwiki allows you to setup user blogs, has built in forums, faqs, and a bug tracker (and of course a wiki).  Their wysiwyg editor is fckeditor and it's pretty good.

To be honest, to avoid the whole mess of designing a site, I was thinking about setting something up on blogger recently... I've been thinking about doing a programming blog.

someone else on the forum might have more experience with blog software than me (Mathias has talked about blogging before if I remember correctly)...

Wy this? Is not best to blog directly on this blog only about Xith3D?

The main reason I would want a separate entry was the fact that I would be generating a sequence of entries, a developer blog, and wasn't sure if mixing them up in other postings was a good idea or not.
