The main reason I would want a separate entry was the fact that I would be generating a sequence of entries, a developer blog, and wasn't sure if mixing them up in other postings was a good idea or not.

That made me think of a RSS Feed Reader... hmmm

After thinking about this, I don't think it's a big deal if they're mixed together.  You should be able to view the posts by an 'author'  Aside from that different people will have different 'spurts' of posts.  Like I'm planning on doing some Collada development soon, so will likely post more frequently.

Now for the main reason of this reply.  I tried posting to the blog, and it didn't seem to show up on the 'blog' page.

I just had another idea that might 'integrate' with the Xith website better?  I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not, but a blog forum, where only specific people are allowed to create threads, but any user can reply so it works kind of the same as a blog.  I'm not sure.

The main reason behind the blog idea was so people would see more activity.  Maybe making a link straight into a specific forum would be sufficient.

Just an idea...

Edit: Just realized I'm talking about the "News" forum.  A link to that would probably be sufficient.  We could use that in a similar way.

I think, it should even be possible to show he latest x entries of the News forum on the website. This would make the whole blog obsolete (which I would like ). I will investigate this when I have some time.

You already have permission to post to the News forum btw.
