No need to be sorry, I admit I didn't study all the XML libs existing. OK, I'll switch to JIBX when I have time..

I guess, you meant that, but just to note it. Please also switch to this JIBX for xith-tk.

I've done comparative testing of JIBX and XStream.

And I must say, that JIBX may be faster, but I prefer XStream, principally there's no need to have getters/setters or binding files.

I think I'll only use JIBX in performance-critical cases..

Yup, things like Castor or XMLEncoder (or Xstream - although I have no personal experience there) are easier for the simplest applications; i.e., limited or absent XSD, easy file structure, file structure that closely mirrors the Java model, etc.  JIBX really shines when you need low memory consumption, fast printing/parsing, and your XSD may not exactly match your Java model.

After about 4 hours practice with it, you'll be very used to it if you still want to use it.
