Is there any exisiting capabilities to receive an event when the view changes.  Basically I am providing an overhead view along with the normal camera view.  I want the overhead to track avatar movements.  If the camera moves in X/Y/Z i want to re generate the over head texture.

This should be possible by tracking the isDirty() method of the view's matrix. You only need to invoke setClean() after you checked it.
