Is anyone using the eclipse generated ant build-files? I would like to setup a more complete ant build system with configurable per user build-settings. Any objections?

Please go for it. I don't know, if anybody really used it as is. I believe a handfull of people used a modified version of it.

I still use Helios TextPad for the small footprint and have grown to really love Ant, CVS NT, and Tortoise CVS. I use CVS when I'm the only developer for easy back-up on a 2nd hard drive and to track changes. Ant was really useful for J2ME development where you need conditional building and preprocessor ability. I suggested along time ago it would be nice to have ant-based builds for the Xith3D demos.

The ant scripts I made already are in the trunk of xith3d and xith3d-tk. feel free to check them out and suggest improvements.
