Hi,
I'm daniel and I was looking for a 3d engine when I came across jMonkey. It was slowww and the api I  found hard to use. Java3D looked good but it hasn't been maintained is ages and Sun/Oracle are abandoning it. I came across Xith3d and its got a nice api like java3d but it's maintained! So I thank everyone who worked on this for all of their hard work and not forcing me to start my own scenegraph engine which would take a long time indeed.

I also tried JME before coming to XITH.

JME3 is great, but is currently alpha and I requires new graphics hardware I don't have  Sad

So I tried XITH's documentation and found it easy to start creating 3d games so here I am! Smiley

I even created my own tutorial on XITH to share with anybody that might need help with it, it's here: http://www.lucuma.megabyet.net/
