Hello,

just new here and very interested in using Xith3d... and a problem
already ;-)

As far as i see the links to the getting started demos (Web Start)
are dead?

http://www.xith.org/pages/getting_started_guide_demos.html

For example
AseTransformGroup - Demo.. The following link is broken?

https://xith3d.dev.java.net/webstart/xith3d-2004-09-07_cvs.jnlp

Thanks in advance!

I had the same experience although I never posted it on the board because I'm a Mac OS X user and figured my platform was never tested.  I'm now developing directly from the SVN trunk without any issues.  Either grab 0.90-beta2 or the SVN trunk and the demos are all there.  Welcome to Xith3D!

Hello Oliver and welcome to Xith3D !

The getting started guide is now deprecated. Where did you find those links ?? You should use the "Xith In A Nutshell" (XIN) guide instead, which can be found here : http://www.xith.org/pages/documentation.html

Good luck !

Hello Oliver and welcome to Xith3D !

Thanks! Quite an active forum here.. nice! There's nothing more depressing
than forums, where you can feel that the whole project has been abandoned
and the last news are from months, maybe years ago... nice to see
that this is different here!

Well, you can access them right at the sidebar at "demos"!
