Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a way to use Xith embedded in a Qt widget, there is a topic in the forum dealing with this purpose : http://xith.org/forum/index.php/topic,482.15.html

However there is no sources and nothing has been integrated in the trunk for this functionnality.

Si is someone could explain how to proceed please?

The guy, who wanted to implement this, disappeared without any results. So you would probably have to start from scratch.

But if you want to do this, have a look at the CanvasPeerImpl classes. You would probably only have to derive a similar class.

Actually I have to add some advanced GUI in my application: such as hiddable widget with a high customization of themes. Could the ui already implemented in xith fit these needs?

If I have no choice I think I will try to start Qt implementation from the scratch but I'd like not to do this.

Well, this is hard to say without knowing your exact requirements. But the Xith HUD is pretty customizable and themable (and of course hidable). Just have a look at the testcases and XIN (last chapter).
