GLSelect picking is now much faster. The FrustumCuller now does not cull anymore in picking mode, but does a sphere-ray intersection test (just as PickingLibrary does) to efficiently preselect. And it is fully capable of picking on any kind of LayeredNode (Foreground/Background). I don't know, why it should have been possible in Xith 0.8, since it simply could not have been possible.

And GLSelect picking is now internally scheduled (NOT through OperationScheduler) and therefore does not need any further synchronization.

Even though I still would advise you to use PL (anything, which is possible with GLSelect picking, is also possible with PL and more), GLSelect picking should be much more usable now.
