Hello All,

First time poster on this relatively new forum, but I've been using Xith3D for a couple of years now. I wanted to let you guys know about an academic project that uses Xith but first I'd like to thank all the developers for their great work! Thanks guys!

Our 3D Data Viewer enables researchers to visualize their experimental setups in 3D space along with 2D plots of their data side-by-side. The goal is to aid out users to better visualize, analyze, share and present their experimental data.

This isn't exactly a gaming project, but Xith has proven to be invaluable to us. Thanks again!

Good to know, that xith is used for multiple topics. What version do you use?

Marvin, the currently released version uses xith3d 0.8. The changes to the API after the 0.9 jump requires a decent amount of effort for us to adjust for (from what I can gather after a quick attempt). So although it's on the todo list to move to the latest xith3d release, there's other features we want to implement first.

Really, really nice-looking project.

@Marvin : well I thought it would be more easy to move on from 0.8 to 0.9.... We sometimes forget not everyone checkouts SVN everyday Smiley

It's not too hard. I ported sago space in one evening. It looks more difficult than it actually is. Most basic things are done via search&replace.
