You may have noticed, that when a new CanvasPeer is created, the old scene is partly displayed before the forst new frame is rendered. This can now be avioded by invoking the new destroy() method of CanvasPeer. It clears the screen to black and destroys the display context.

This isn't necessray if you use RenderLoop and Xith3DEvironment and set the StopOperation of the RenderLoop to DESTROY_AND_EXIT and call the end() method of the RenderLoop to end your game instead of System.exit( 0 ).
