Hi there Smiley (always hi + something + Smiley)

Does anyone have an idea on how to implement character movement? The physical representation of the scene is a CollisionMatch.StaticCollideableList.

You're right. So, Sonic can walk, or run in every direction. He "attaches" himself to the ground, depending on it's angle. If there's an uniform terrain and appropriated slopes, and if there's enough speed, he's able to run on walls, or even the ceiling. There are a lot of physics effects involved.

Btw. You should make sure, not to get license problems, when you use the Sonic model. I'm not sure, if there are any expected problems. Just my 1 cent.

Hum... I'm sure that there's no problem, but of course I should advice the players that the game is just fan-made, without any relationship with sega or sonic team, sonic and all related stuff are owned by SEGA, and the game cannot be sold. Did I miss anything?
