This may be due to my strange Graphics card.  The ProjectiveTexturesTest looks great, it will work well for me.  The only problem is that when I increase the spread angle past, say, 18, I start to see some odd blackness, in the vague form of a circle, but it seems multi-layered - certain parts are darker than others.  Look at the screenie.  Again, I think that this is just my graphics card, and I'll live, but is this a bug?

EDIT: Actually, I just realized that this behavior also shows up when my view is very close to the ridged plane.  Look at screenshot 2, where the spread angle is set back down, but the behavior still is there.

EDIT 2:  I have found out that it is directly affected by the distance to the plane.  When I am far away, the behavior does not appear, even with the spread angle very high.

EDIT 3: Whoops, forgot the screenshots  Undecided

I guess, this is a bug in your driver or your card again. It works perfectly for me for any view position. Of course the final judgment can only be made after others have proven the testcase.

Thanks. I have fixed this. Do you know the Xith3DTestLauncher btw.? (Not that this is an excuse for the bug Wink).

Does the testcase work for you? Or do you get the same behavior as kukanani does?

It seems I have the same behaviour than kukanani.

There is some black/grey zones if you are very close or if the angle is changed.

What graphics board do you have? Are you sure, you have installed the latest drivers? I hate to ask this, but we need to make this sure.

Well, this card should be sufficient Wink. It is almost the same as my own card. I will test the texture projection code on Windows tomorrow. Maybe this makes the difference.

I have tested the texture projection on Windows. And it looks as you describe. I will try to fix this now.

What was the problem ?

The projected texture had to have the CLAMP_TO_EGDE boundary modes instead of the CLAMP one.
