Hello,
I was seeking for an easy but powerful engine to create some 2d gl-accellerated games  and I started some hours ago to play with xith3d ^_^.
I wrote a little installation faq in Italian language based upon the "Xith3D Installation from SVN.pdf" but with mylin for svn, updated code and screenshots;
I'm going to finish the faq with some focus upon the native library location (the world is plenty of lazy win32 people like me Cheesy).

I know only 3d bases like quads, vectors and transformations but i don't know what's the better way to write an isometric tile engine (3d with fixed camera), because I don't know anything about display lists, vertex buffers and so on... (once upon a time i read nehe tutorials but i didn't understand those advanced things!)

I hope someone can help me Cheesy

bye

Hello, welcome to Xith3D Smiley

Are you trying to do something like Martian madness ?

Although this game is based on very old Xith3D API I would be curious to see its code because it is great stuff.

You will certainly find answers to your questions in the demos in xith-tk.
