Can anyone recommend or point to any skeletal animation tutorials? Hopefully geared to Xith3d?   

If not a tutorial, can anyone point to some code that works with skeletal animation that I can rip apart? Grin

Ideally, I'm trying to make a human model's head look at a player controlled model.

there is support for md2/md4 animation formats...you can possibly use this
